Volunteer Opportunities:

The Idaho Jazz Society is always looking for people to help with specific things from time-to-time.  These may be to assist with mailings, communications, technical assistance, helping with local jazz festivals, etc.  If you have a special skill or talent, or would like to help in any way, please contact our president, Patrick Kurdy, by email at pres@idahojazzsociety.org, or by phone at (208) 336-4447.  Thanks.

Publicity Chairperson Wanted:  The position consists of preparing press releases and sending them out to news organizations.  We estimate that this would take less than an hour, approximately three times a year.  If you can help in this area, please call Patrick Kurdy at (208) 336-4447.

Volunteer Information for the Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree (mid-October)

The annual Sun Valley festival is always looking for new volunteers.  Folks can help in areas of communication, badge checking at venues, registration, driving vehicles, etc.  Those who volunteer for 12 hours of service receive a complimentary all-events badge good for all five days of the festival.  Call Betty Black 208.375.1671, or Carol Loehr at 360.687.9656.
